New To Our Practice

Pediatric Associates is currently accepting new patients!
Whether you are a new or expectant parent, are new to the area or transferring from another practice, our providers and staff look forward to welcoming you to our practice.

NEWBORNS: Choosing a pediatrician for your new baby is an important decision. We offer free prenatal telemedicine consultations to meet one of our physicians before the baby is born and answer any questions you may have. There is no other need to contact our office prior to your baby’s birth.

Upon admission to the hospital for your delivery, you will notify the staff as to who your child’s pediatrician will be. At time of discharge from the hospital, you will be instructed to call our office to schedule your child’s first checkup.

TRANSFERS: Pediatric Associates welcomes families who are transferring from another practice to ours. We are here to help you each step of the way to make your transition as quick and easy as possible.

The first step is to request a copy of your child’s complete medical record from their current doctor. We advise parents to have the record sent to them when possible to allow you the opportunity to copy the records and maintain a copy with you for the future. After you have made your copy, please forward one copy to our office for our records. Upon receipt of your child’s record, we will be able to establish your account.

Parents should also advise their insurance carrier that they have changed primary care providers and have chosen our group as their primary care physicians.
